To ensure a safe and respectful experience for both property owners and guests, PRIME PROSPERA offers the following damage protection options:

  1. Standard Damage Protection (Included)
    ● Coverage: Minor accidental damage up to ₦25,000.
    ● Cost: Free (included with all bookings).
    ● Conditions:
    ○ Covers incidents like broken dishes, minor wall marks, or stained linens.
    ○ Damage must be reported within 24 hours of check-out.
    ○ Not applicable to intentional damage or gross negligence.
  2. Premium Damage Waiver (Optional)
    ● Coverage: Up to ₦150,000 in accidental damages.
    ● Cost: ₦5,000 per booking.
    ● Benefits:
    ○ Peace of mind for guests and property owners.
    ○ Covers furniture damage, broken fixtures, or appliance issues.
    ○ Priority resolution and support.
  3. Security Deposit (Host-Set Option)
    ● Amount: Set by property owners (typically ₦20,000 – ₦100,000).
    ● Process:
    ○ Collected at the time of booking or check-in.
    ○ Refunded within 3–7 days after check-out if no damages are found.
    ● Ideal for: High-value properties, long stays, or properties with premium furnishings.
  4. Owner-Reported Damages
    ● Property owners can report unclaimed or post-checkout damages within 48 hours.
    ● PRIME PROSPERA mediates the claim and supports appropriate resolution, which may include:
    ○ Deducting from guest’s deposit
    ○ Insurance claim (for Premium Waiver holders)
    ○ Guest-borne repair cost (if outside coverage)
  5. Guest Liability Guidelines
    ● Guests are responsible for:
    ○ Maintaining cleanliness and respect for the property.
    ○ Avoiding parties or unauthorized events (unless explicitly allowed).
    ○ Reporting damage immediately for better resolution outcomes.
